Ursula Burns

Former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Xerox Corporation

Ursula Burns was Chief Executive Officer of Xerox from July 2009 to December 2016 and served as chairman from 2010 to 2017, becoming the first Black woman to lead a Fortune 500 company. A mechanical engineer by training, she joined Xerox as a summer intern in 1980 and rose through product development, manufacturing and strategy roles before being named president in 2007. As CEO she oversaw the 2016 separation of Xerox into Xerox Corporation and Conduent. She later served as chairman and then CEO of VEON and co-founded the investment firm Integrum Holdings.
