Dr. Aprille Ericsson-Jackson is an aerospace engineer at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, where she has worked on numerous satellite missions. She was the first African American woman to receive a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Howard University and the first African American woman to earn a Ph.D. in Engineering at NASA GSFC.
