Dr. Mae Jemison is a physician, engineer, and NASA astronaut who became the first Black woman to travel in space aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour in 1992. After NASA, she founded The Jemison Group and leads 100 Year Starship, an initiative to ensure human space travel capabilities within 100 years.
