Benjamin Crump is a civil rights and personal injury attorney and the founder and principal of Ben Crump Law. Born in Lumberton, North Carolina in 1969, he earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a J.D. from Florida State University. He has represented the families of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd, residents affected by the Flint, Michigan water crisis, and the family of Henrietta Lacks. He is a past president of the National Bar Association.
